The 13.5 mile race starts at the Glen with a steep 3-mile climb to the summit of Mt. Greylock using single track hiking trails and semi-abandoned alpine ski trails. It then continues primarily downhill in a counter clockwise direction over the rugged hiking trails and old jeep trails of the Mt. Greylock Reservation. There are 3 manned and 1 unmanned aid station(s).
