Race Description:

The 21st annual Sam Gomez Classic was held on Sunday, October 25, 1998. The proceeds were donated to Northern Berkshire United Way. 111 participatnts ran the race, split between the 10k anf 5k. This was the first race since the passing of Sam Gomez in January of 1998. nearly $1,800 was raised. The 10k winners were Dean Manuel and Wendy Cwalinski. The 5k winners were Kent Lemme and Mercedes Pour.
