Race Description:

The eleventh edition of the Sam Gomez Classic was held on Sunday, October 30, 1988. The proceeds benefitted the Northern Berkshire United Way. 114 runners participated. Dennis Sinonaitis won the long event for the men, Laurie Bartnick winning the female side. Tim Smith won the short race for the men, Diane Tedford took the women's race. The Western Mass Track Club took the team prize in both races.
