Race Description:

The 19th annual Sam Gomez Classic was held on Sunday, October 27, 1996. The proceeds were donated to the Greylock Neighborhood Project. Two former champions of the event - Joe Zustra and Robin Hathaway - added to their trophy collection by winning the 10k. North Adams resident Richard Jolin and Williamstown's Patti Scott won the 5k.
